Presentations

The Presentation section of the Health Workforce Diversity (HWDC) website allows you to view, download, and upload both presentation and audience discussion/action planning files.

View and download

Use the file tree to navigate to the specific HWDC conference. Highlight and select the HWDC conference-specific folder to view the list of presentation files and audience discussion files that are posted on the site (to view additional pages click the appropriate page indicator at the top and bottom of each listing). Associated Tags (keyword filters) may appear above the conference listings. If this occurs you can filter your view by clicking on these Tags.

Once you have your file selection in view you may click on the name of the file to see additional information pertaining to that file (file size, comments, abstract, etc.) and access the download button that will allow you to Open and view the actual presentation or Save the presentation to the folder you specify on your own computer. If you don't wish to see the additional information pertaining to that file you can simply click on the download button adjacent to the file name to that will allow you to Open and view the actual presentation or Save the presentation to the folder you specify on your own computer.

If you receive the following message from Adobe Reader “There was an error opening this document. This file cannot be found.” you must save the file on your local computer and then double click to open it.

Upload

We prefer presentations in the .pdf format but you can also upload other file types such as Microsoft Work or PowerPoint files. To upload your presentation you must be a registered user signed in to the site. If you have not registered please Click Here To Join. If you are not signed in please Click Here to Sign In.

Once you are have logged in use the file tree to navigate to the specific HWDC conference. Highlight and select the HWDC conference-specific folder and click on the Upload button to upload your presentation. Please complete all pertinent information and Save your file by clicking on Save at the bottom of the upload page.
